there are very colourful and closely decorated houses in Lima. Often seen colours were yellow, turquoise, blue and pink/ red.
here the architecture is new and  interesting
At every Spanish city, the central plaza is called Plaza de Armas.
Here Plaza de Armas in Lima.
At a Plaza de Armas there are the most important buildings, government, mayor, police. The buildings are beautifully decorated and in the center of the plaza there are always beautifully-placed  flowers, fountains, trees.
Plaza de Armas from a different prospective, being overlooked by mountain. Lima is constantly growing- houses go up to the middle of the mountain, many refugee- looking. Because of the humidity, a fog is cast during the winter months May- October.

At the edge of
Plaza de Armas.

 A beautiful 500 year-old church.
Hundreds of doves rest and eat here.
A hobby for all ages- feeding the birds.
Impressive entrance to the church. Below- Susana's younger son and me. Behind  us are my dad, Susana and her older son.

After the church and Plaza de Armas we decided to go to a typical Limian coffee shop.
Order from the left- Susana's young son, my dad, Susana, me and her older son.
